The YMCA of Greater Flint offers a variety of aerobics programs for both members and community members. Programs include both water and land aerobics classes. Each program is specifically designed to fit the needs of the participants.

Water Aerobics

Water aerobics are for everyone. No swimming skills are needed. Get an aerobic workout without the pounding of joints and subsequent pain.

*Aqua Flex Class – Toning & Stretching with a cardio workout. Perfect for people with arthritis.

*Tone Robics Class – For all fitness levels.

Aquatic Strength & Conditioning Class – Improve joint flexibility, develop muscle strength, enhance overall body posture, and stabilize body balance.

Aerobics Classes

*Pilates – The matwork technique: strengthens the abs, gluts, and back, develops long lean, tone muscles, and improves posture.

*Strength Training Challenge – Strengthen and build muscle, create goal by measuring body fat, and receive caloric guidelines on your needs.

*FUNK Aerobics – This class is a mini-boot camp focused on getting you in shape.

*Step Aerobics – A dynamic program of stepping that’s a high intensity, low-impact workout.

*Cardio-Kickboxing – This class utilizes the martial art technique combined with athletic drills to provide a fast paced & challenging workout.
